Network and Security Analyst



This position is cross functional and its primary role is to maintain and monitor the business infrastructure, systems and security, across multiple sites and 365 tenants; advising the business of prevalent threats and safeguards.  The secondary role is to support the service desk with second and third line support helping to up skill and train the team in new systems or processes.  The Security and Network Analyst will manage all these duties whist supporting the Head of IT where applicable.

  • Sophos endpoint security
    • Remote access + mobility solutions
  • Monthly MI Report
  • Daily/weekly monitoring
    • Management of back-up process – Office 365
    • Success/failure
    • Testing
    • Recovery
  • Management of Windows servers, Office 365 environment
  • Installation and configuration of existing and new hardware and software (back-end)
  • Testing / UAT
    • Effective roll out and release procedures
  • Assist Head of IT with network management, monitoring and reporting
  • Assist Head of IT in research and testing of new technologies to be used by the IT Department and Atnahs employees
  • Assist Service Desk team in their core tasks and duties
  • Advanced problem solving with other members of the team
  • To assist colleagues with knowledge transfer
  • Manage documentation for current and new procedures
